How to Stop a File From Uploading on an Android

  1. AC Question's Avatar

    Hello Friends,

I have an Android phone (Samsung Milky way iv mini) connected to my Google Bulldoze account from which I upload pictures taken on my phone to Google Drive so I tin can employ them elsewhere.

Several days ago, I did a data-dump in which I uploaded 120 image files. The files successfully transferred to Google Drive into the correct folder. Withal, my Notifications console for my phone indicates that I am still trying to upload 120 images.

I cannot upload boosted images that I took - they are however stuck in the queue.

I went to my device's Apps > settings > Accounts folio and removed my google account, then added it again. This should take disconnected the sync process.

Withal, the Notifications page still says that it is trying to upload 120 files (I have the upload set just to exist performed on a wifi connectedness, and I am currently on our wifi.) I seem to be stuck in an endless loop.

What tin I exercise to kill the process?

    Regards.

    Welcome to Android Central!

First, get to Settings>Accounts-Google>[your Google account], and uncheck Google+ Uploads, then check it once more.

If that doesn't aid, so become to your App Manager, select Google+, and Clear Cache/Clear Data, then Strength Stop. Now open information technology once again.

If that doesn't help, then try booting into Recovery and wiping the enshroud partition, which won't erase any personal data: Reset: Samsung Galaxy South 4 | T-Mobile Support

Give thanks you very much. I didn't find information technology in quite the style yous described, only strength-stopping Google+ and clearing the enshroud data was the trick. I appreciate the time you took to reply.

I just had to practise the same thing with my Galaxy S5, and this solution helped me figure information technology out.

For me, information technology wasn't the Google+ app that I had to clear enshroud / clear data / force stop, but the Drive app. Afterwards I did that, the upload went away.

    Thanks!

The only solution that worked for me...

    • Download and install AppMgr Three https://forums.androidcentral.com/e?...token=IXq6UE_3
    • This volition allow you admission to "Goggle Drive" >app info
    • Strength stop, >clear data, >articulate cache
    • If you have Goggle+ installed, echo for "Goggle+" >app info
    • Become to settings, >business relationship, >goggle, >select your account, >disable Drive, >Goggle+, and re-enable the sync.
    • Restart Goggle Drive.

    Y'all should be fine.

    Solution
Just go to the app info of the app (Apps>Google Bulldoze) and so delete all the used storage on the device (Click on Storage>Clear Storage). Since your files haven't been uploaded they are stil on your device and they are located in the files of Drive. Immigration cache won't solve this *Clear Storage* is the right way. This method will merely delete the files that yous where trying to upload.
